My Future Jewelry Designer

India came to visit the studio this week and was in awe of Melissa in our production department who was busily working on spring hoop earrings with India sitting in her lap….

India is a girl on the go but not a peep was heard as she soaked it all in. She was completely mesmerized with every move Melissa made.

Jewelry designer in the making?

I’m just saying I called it first……

Missing Drusy Quartz…The Conclusion

You may recall I mentioned a while back that some very special drusy quartz stones had gone missing overseas and I was frantically re- working my Spring 2012 line…

Several days after writing my blog, I got a call that the stones had magically reappeared and would be making their debut in our Spring 2012 collection after all…! It was meant to be.

Take a gander at these little organic treasures…

A Frosty Day In Manhattan

Meandering through Bryant Park with my coffee on this frosty Manhattan day marveling at the most stunning bare branches….

I see a beautifully delicate pendant…what do you see?

It’s never too early to follow your dreams…

We had a very special budding jewelry designer join us at our studio today for a visit and to work her magic…..

Here are a few photos of Colette creating her very own masterpiece.

Our budding designer working away……

Proud as punch and donning a finished necklace of her own design…..

Is such cuteness even legal?

Spring Inspiration Contest

I am a total sucker for Spring….to me it signifies the official beginning of the year.

I always feel better when the trees start to plump with buds and soon after the first magnolias and fruit trees blossom. It reminds me of the promise of sunny days…and opportunities to be out and about without layers of sweaters, scarves and coats!

Don’t get me wrong–I do appreciate the seasons, but since I grew up in Northern California, I am definitely a warm weather girl.
