Mystery Photo

I took this photo with a very different vision in mind but the photo came out like the strokes of an impressionistic painting…..

Can anyone guess what and where this is?

I will be very impressed if anyone gets this one…..it’s a tough one but there is a little goodie in it for the first person that solves the mystery. :)

That’s really lovely! Looks like coins in a fountain but I have no idea which fountain it would be.

Oh it’s so beautiful…would make for a stunning scarf print…

I think it’s a water scene, probably a river or the ocean where the natural rocks are. Its a great photo! Very inspiring…

I realize half the mystery was already solved, but looking at this I have go armchair traveling & guess this is the glorious Trevi Fountain in Rome, of “Three Coins in the Fountain” fame…worth fantasizing about!

Sooo gorgeous! To me (although I see it’s already been answered), the scene looks like schools of fish, perhaps Koi or goldfish, against the beautiful rocks – and so beautifully lit! I agree with Johanna – that would be an exquisite silk scarf (as well as a sari-type piece).

And thanks, too, for your shots of Abbott-Kinney, etc. I’m in Napa now, but we used to have a boat in Marina Del Rey and really miss that whole area. Anyway, good luck on your new store!
