Oregon holds a special place in my heart because I spent my formative years of high school there. I remember loving the luscious green of EVERYTHING in Oregon in the winter and spring. I looked forward to the one week out of the year when it would actually lightly snow and Portland (where I went to school) and the city would basically shut down and school would close…a teenagers dream!
