New Collection Favorites : Fall 2009

When I wrote this post on Sunday afternoon, I was taking a quick break from finalizing the design of my latest collection and frantically getting ready for my trip this week to the Northwest. The weather this weekend was gorgeous and sunny–and our ancient wisteria was in full bloom–the air was literally filled with the scent of the flowers and the sound of buzzing bees. Talk about the perfect backdrop to inspire new designs…

I will be on the road in the Northwest with Melissa, our production manager, visiting some of our favorite retailers in Oregon and Washington. We will be flying into Seattle and making our way to Portland, Bend, Ashland and Eugene…I can’t wait— a road adventure!  Melissa and I always have such fun.  We are very simpatico and our travels together are seamless.

I am really looking forward to debuting our Fall 2009 line.

I always have a bit of butterflies as I anticipate showing the line for the first time…. but it is a good feeling.  You will hear me say this every season but I swear it is always true:  I am in love with our new jewels!  Fall 2009  features a cascade of the most stunning color combos:  long draping chandelier earrings, stone studded necklaces mixed with gold and oxidized silver and a full offering of juicy bangles and stackable rings—-who needs a new wardrobe when you can change it up with colorful accessories?

I wanted to share a couple of my favorites for Fall 2009 with you…

Favorite #1: Egyptian eye chandelier earrings.

So decadent and luxe, they are literally dripping with the most sumptuous stones!  Can a stone be sumptuous?   I think so!

Favorite #2: A huge stack of our juicy bangles.

I like to wear lots of bangles as well as mixing different textures, stones and metals.  Bangles are such fun to collect, especially from your travels!

Favorite #3: Bezel set Stackable rings in all colors.

A perfect splash of color and you can mix them with other stackables from your own jewelry wardrobe to create different looks.  Make something old look new by wearing it differently.

Stay tuned for more.
