I just returned from a week in LA–and a wonderfully busy week it was…

In the midst of running around town to meetings with buyers and editors, I met with the Getty Museum who carries our jewelry line, and had the opportunity to spend two glorious afternoons roaming both the Getty Museum and The Getty Villa. I absolutely love how you can completely lose yourself when given the opportunity to experience a different time period, an artists point of view, or an object of beauty that speaks to you in some divine way. It was a reminder to me that although we are all so busy it is so important to take time out to experience art and history. It not only inspires but makes us more interesting people.

They say the apple doesn’t fall from the tree and that is the truth when it comes to my inheritance of the leather jacket gene from my dad.

My dad is infamous for his steadfast love of his motorcycle jacket. He takes it to another level by religiously donning his leather jacket even in the tropics!
