This morning I was struck with the realization that Spring is right around the corner…and as I left my house to go on my morning run with Bourbon, my Boykin Spaniel, I caught a glimpse of white out of the corner of my eye and realized that our wild overgrown Hawthorne was showing it’s first blossoms.

I took a break from design this morning to have a peek at what I will be dying to have come fall…

Stunning!…is truly all I have to say about all of the silhouettes and deep vibrant hues of Carlos Miele’s Fall 2009 collection. I am mad for his slinky gowns in dark plum, deep teal and chartreuse—truly scrumptious.  I am also a great admirer of Reem Acra and this season is no exception. I dream of one day having just the right occasion to justify the need for one of her luxurious creations.Â

It was an exciting day at the studio today…

We found out late yesterday afternoon that the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2009 issue had hit the stands—and one of our triple strand necklaces was adorning Bar Refaeli on the cover!!  An editor at Sports Illustrated had called us to let us know that one of our classic Nest Rings in faceted turquoise had made it in to the issue–but the cover placement took us by surprise because not even the models know who is going to be on the cover until the day before publication.

Needless to say we are thrilled to be a part of the excitement!!
