Missing Drusy Quartz…The Conclusion

You may recall I mentioned a while back that some very special drusy quartz stones had gone missing overseas and I was frantically re- working my Spring 2012 line…

Several days after writing my blog, I got a call that the stones had magically reappeared and would be making their debut in our Spring 2012 collection after all…! It was meant to be.

Take a gander at these little organic treasures…

Love for India

I swear I am not obsessed with the heart theme, but I just had to share a photo of the lunch Robbie made for India this morning while I was getting ready to go to the design studio.

Is this not the most adorable quesadilla you have ever seen?

The love of a father…so sweet.

Peace To You

I took a quick jaunt to LA this week for a wee bit of business and to share a little cheer with my Southern California girls….

In Venice Beach, the bridge on Linnie Canal was lit up with this magical display that reminded me of what the holidays are really about: the love and best wishes that we have for the special people in each of our lives.

Wishing you all a holiday brimming with bountiful love and peace…..

Be The Master Of Reinvention…

Someone recently told me that the life of a fashion jewelry designer would make great reality television and I scrunched my nose at them…..tonight I am re-thinking that as today’s episode would feature the jewelry designer recoiling in horror when she discovers that her most prized custom cut stones that took over six months to procure were stolen in transit overseas.

Gasp is right.

It would be an interesting episode as I work at my studio into the wee hours, candle burning at both ends, designing gorgeous new pieces to replace those stones that were lost. It’s a good thing that great inspiration has always traveled with me in the midst of chaos, so all is well….. if not even better in the end…ask me in twenty four hours.

I think the takeaway from all of this is that we all need to be the master of our own reinvention, whatever that means in each of our unique lives….that doesn’t sound like reality tv to me, thank goodness!

Sleep tight all….Sweet Dreams,
